Really scared

My partner and I are trying for a baby, problem is I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks I am already super anxious and scared about the whole giving birth side of things. I am so scared of needles don't have very high pain tolerance etc. and am pretty sure I would think / convince myself I am going to die during labour. I have tried reading up and asking questions in the hope my mind will ease. How can I manage my anxiety while in labour?

Answer: Hi, You really need to get some help to manage your anxiety. Labour and birth needs lots of preparation and if you feel that oyu can manage your anxiety you will be able to cope much better. Talk to your GP about services that may be available for you. Best wishes, Alex.
