Huggies Ultimate® Size 2 (infant)

Why can I no longer purchase Huggies Ultimate and Ultra Dry Infant Nappies in boy/ girl sizes?
Based on feedback from our Huggies community, we have changed our Huggies Ultimate Infant Nappy to a unisex product. We know that the majority of babies are only in infant size nappies for a short period of time and as they are quite inactive during this period, the need for gender specific absorbency is lessened. The unisex product still features all the benefits of the Huggies Ultimate Range, designed to provide our best care for your baby’s delicate skin. Given we know that a babies skin is its most delicate during the first months of life, and deserves special attention to keep it protected. So, we have upgraded our Huggies Ultra Dry Infant Nappy to the Huggies Ultimate Range. Given our best care for skin at no additional cost to you (based on our RRP^). We still have gender specific options available from upwards of size 3 (6kg+) in our Huggies Ultimate and Huggies Ultra Dry Ranges.

^Huggies provides a recommended retail price to all our retailers, it is at the discretion of individual retailers to set the price they charge in-store and online.

Huggies® Ultra Dry Changes

Huggies Ultra Dry Nappies looks different – has it been changed?
We recently refreshed the packaging across our Huggies Ultra Dry Range to make it easier to identify and locate the product that’s right for you and your baby. In addition we have added wetness indicator across all the Huggies Ultra Dry Nappy sizes. The only other change to the range is the upgrade of the infant size to the Huggies Ultimate Range, now available as a unisex product (Huggies Ultra Dry Infant Nappies are no longer available). To identify your desired product look for the range name located under the Huggies logo. Then use the size and weight range on pack to select the most appropriate nappy for your baby. If you are having difficulty locating a particular product please speak to your local retailer for specific store availability.
How do I locate the right nappy size for my baby?
Huggies Nappies are available in a range of sizes to suit every stage of development. The numbers from 1-6 represents the product size, and is supported by a corresponding weight range. Please refer to the size chart below to help select the most appropriate nappy for your baby:
Size Weight Range
1 Up to 5kg
2 4-8kg
3 6-11kg
4 10-15kg
5 13-18kg
6 16kg+
My baby doesn’t fit the nappy your weight range recommends?
Huggies develops our nappies to provide our best fit and comfort based on the average weight range for key stages of a baby’s development journey. As every baby develops differently, there may be occasions when a baby might not fit within their corresponding recommended weight range. We try our best to alleviate this by allowing an overlap within our size ranges. But if you are unsure, we recommend trialling a range of sizes to ensure the best for your baby.

Pull-Ups® Changes

Why have Pull-Ups been phased out?
After talking to many mums and dads, we found that a large number actually prefer to use our Nappy-Pants products for toilet training. In order to make the journey simpler, Pull-Ups will be phased out to focus on the Nappy-Pants range. We have just introduced some new ‘big kid’ designs on our Junior size to appeal to toddlers who are ready to move through the toilet training stage. Nappy-Pants slide on like pants and have soft and stretchy sides to help toddlers pull them up and down just like real underwear. In addition they provide all the absorbency of a nappy to catch any accidents, and the ‘big kid’ designs on the Junior size appeal to toddlers ready to move through to toilet training stage.
Do Nappy-Pants perform the same way as Pull-Ups?
Nappy-Pants and Pull-Ups do have some differences in performance. While Pull-Ups have a Learning Liner that teaches children the difference between wet and dry, the benefit of Nappy-Pants is that they provide all the absorbency of a nappy to catch any accidents. In addition our Ultimate Nappy-Pants include the soft DryTouch Layer which instantly absorbs wetness and provides cushiony protection. Despite the differences there are many similarities. Both products slide on like pants to help teach toddlers to pull up and down just like real underwear and allow them to go to the toilet by themselves.
